As we are both avid Star Wars fans, we wanted our fandom involved in how we devote our lives to each other. The bride and groom will dress the part.
What should we wear? OMG CAN I WEAR MY LEIA BIKINI?!
While we encourage costumes, please make them Senate appropriate. Would Leia wear her slave costume to a wedding? What did Han wear when he got married? Exactly. Above all, remember that this is a wedding... Attire should still seem appropriate even in a galaxy far far away. Alien makeup, Imperial uniforms, Red Guard, Storm Troopers, Jedi/Sith Robes and Lightsabers and blasters are all quite welcome. There will be a costume contest with prizes, to sweeten the deal.

We greatly encourage that you do, but we understand that not everyone loves Star Wars as much as we do. Our colors are black, white, red, and warm earth tones

No. As much as we admire them, we thought it more appropriate to go as ourselves. Sako has always been Sith, and Greg has always been Jedi. It’s a no brainer for us.
